Strawberry Vodka Sorbet

This is what I make when strawberries are about to go bad and I don't want to waste them. Just freeze them and turn them into sorbet. The vodka keeps it from turning into a solid ice block - you can actually scoop this stuff. Way cheaper than buying sorbet and you know exactly what's in it.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Freeze Time: 1 day
Total Time: 1 day 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 4 teaspoons vodka
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Add frozen strawberries, vodka, honey, and water to blender.
  • Blend on high 5 minutes until completely smooth.
  • Pour into shallow freezer container.
  • Freeze minimum 4 hours or overnight.
  • Let soften 2-3 minutes at room temperature before scooping.
  • Store in freezer up to 1 month, best used within first week.
